Commissions
In addition to the purchase of my prints, greetings cards, restoration and trade services, I am happy to discuss any specific projects you may have. My charges for special commissions will vary from case to case, and will depend on the amount and type of work involved and the ownership of copyright.
For non-commercial work, my charges would include a fixed fee to cover the cost of time and materials up to and including the production of contact prints together with an item by item charge for further work.
For commercial work, I charge an hourly rate to cover my time during the production of the images and then an additional licence fee that depends on the media in which the images are to be used. Unlike most other photographers, when the images are purely of products manufactured by yourselves and the end use of the images is in-house or for promotional material such as catalogues, I do not charge an additional licence fee. This exemption does not extend to other promotional material such as posters and newspaper adertisements. Please contact me to discuss your exact requirements and to see if this arrangement might apply to your project.
The best way to proceed is to get in touch and let me know your ideas. We can then agree the best way to take things further. You may rest assured that I will maintain confidentiality and respect your privacy at all times, and no images or other reference to the commission or idea will appear on this website, or in any other publication, without your prior consent.
Please note that I am not willing to cover weddings or other social functions.
Here are some examples of work I have undertaken for clients in the past.
