Delivery

I calculate delivery charges on the basis of the total value of your order and the country in which you live. I will always provide you with an estimate of the delivery charge before accepting your order. The prices quoted below are for greetings cards only . Print orders, whether framed or unframed, are always quoted on a case-by-case basis.

The Royal Mail divides the world into four delivery zones and, by default, I use these as the basis for my delivery charges.

The UK

By default, all orders are sent by first class post. For orders of less than £25.00 in value, I charge £5.00 postage and packing. For orders of between £25.00 and £99.99, postage is £2.50. For orders of £100.00 or more, first class postage is free.

You have the option of requesting me to use the Royal Mail Special Delivery service, which generally guarantees delivery before 12 noon on the next working day (but see the table below for exceptions). This services incurs an increased charge: for orders of less than £25.00, the charge is £6.00. For orders of between £25.00 and £100, the charge is £2.50.

For orders of £100 or more, I always use Special Delivery, and there is no charge for postage and packing.

If you choose to use the Special Delivery service, your confirmation email will include a refernce number which you can use to track the progress of the parcel containing your order as it moves through the Royal Mail system.

Please note that the Special Delivery service requires a signature upon receipt, so someone must be at the delivery address to receive the parcel.

Outside the UK

Delivery to Europe by airmail. Delivery should take no more than 2 or 3 working days. Charges are worked out on a case by case basis, and I will let you know what they will be before accepting your order.

Customers from outside Europe can choose between surface and air mail delivery. Air mail delivery is expected to take no more than four days, but is expensive. Surface mail is expected to take no more than eight weeks, but is much cheaper. Again, I will let you know what the delivery charge will be before accepting your order.

Note that the additional costs of air mail delivery mean that, if you are outside Europe, the savings you make on the cost of my framed prints are likely to to be outweighed by the additional cost of air mail deliveries. In this case I would recommend that you buy an unframed print, and the arrange for it to be framed yourself.
